Hello Everybody!

I’m so excited to share the news with you that this blog is hosting the “Journals for Empowerment” Virtual Book Tour on Wednesday 27^th February 2008! They are featuring their first release “Journal for the Modern Goddess” and it’s a creative collaboration by Nicole Graham and Tara Spicer. They’ve been so wonderful and have created a lovely meditation and affirmation for you to use! So please keep reading!!

Virtual Book Tour – Guided Meditation

We (Tara and I) are very excited that Katherine is one of our Virtual Book Tour Hosts (thank you Katherine). We are touring the virtual world promoting our recently released guided journal and companion meditation CD, Journal for the Modern Goddess.

Our journal is a beautiful hard covered, spiral bound writing journal that helps women uncover the beautiful, unique and powerful Goddess that they really are.

She features inspirational quotes, guided questions, affirmations and lots of lined pages for journaling. The journal is divided into sections - Gratitude and Happiness; Moving Forward; Dreams and Visions; Journal Pages; Guided Meditation; and Sanctuaries and Sisterhood.

The companion guided meditation CD features 3 tracks that provide women with sacred journeys that inspire and encourage them to create positive life patterns. These tracks help them to recognise and invite magic, inspiration and loving energy into their lives.

As part of our stop we are providing Katherine and her readers with a Guided Meditation that you can copy, and do at home in your own time.

Meet your Inner Goddess

* To be worked through at a slow pace *

Sit comfortably with a straight back and your eyes closed. (Pause) Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. (Pause)

As you count down from 5 to 1, you find yourself letting go (Pause), letting go of all thoughts (Pause) and releasing any tension in your body. (Pause)

5. Ensure that your face is soft (Pause), ensure your eyes are soft (Pause) and your jaw is relaxed. (Longer Pause)

4. Let go of any tension in your neck, your shoulders (Pause), your arms and fingers. (Pause)

Good! You’re doing well! (Pause)

3. Take a deep breath in, (Short Pause) count to 3 (Short Pause) and release your breath imagining yourself calm, relaxed and totally at ease. (Pause)

2. Let all your thoughts float away like a white fluffy cloud on a clear blue day. (Long Pause)

Excellent! (Short Pause)

1. All noise and movements allow you to slip deeper and deeper into a state of wellbeing. (Pause) Feel the tension of you lower back, hips and legs become soft and relaxed. (Long Pause)

In your mind’s eye you find yourself in a place of nature... (Pause)

This place of nature is safe, comforting and supportive. (Pause) Take your time to familiarise yourself with this place of nature. (Pause) Look around you, what do you see? (Pause) What do you feel? (Pause) What do you hear? (Pause) What do you sense? (Long Pause)

Take in the smells (Pause), the feelings (Pause) and know you are loved. (Pause)

As you are taking in the beauty of the nature around you, you notice a beautiful woman walking in the distance. (Pause) She radiates love and beauty from the inside out. (Pause)

You recognise her instantly, (Pause) she is your inner goddess. (Pause) You smile at her, a knowing smile. (Pause)

She walks towards you (Pause) and as she gets closer and closer, you feel her loving energy surround you. (Long Pause)

You embrace and sit down together. (Pause) She says to you “I have a gift for you” and asks that you put your hands out in front of you. (Pause)

The gift is placed in your hands and you know it is just for you! (Short Pause)

Take a look at it, what is it? (Pause) What does it represent? (Long Pause) How does it make you feel? (Pause)

You look back at your Inner Goddess and she’s smiling right back at you. She says to you “know you are loved and supported in all that you do. You have the power to achieve all that you want in this life time. You can talk to me whenever you want; all you have to do is look within for all your answers.” (Pause)

She kisses you on the forehead and you embrace. (Pause) She says “your gift is forever; use it when you need to.” (Pause)

You watch her walk off into the distance, (Pause) and when you can no longer see her you look around you and absorb the energy she left behind. (Pause a little longer than normal)

Now put your hands together in prayer position, (Pause) place them at your heart chakra (Pause) and say to yourself out loud or quietly, “Thank you for my beautiful gift.” (Pause)

Take 3 deep breathes and with each breath your awareness returns to the here and now. (Pause) Wiggle your toes and fingers (Pause) and when you’re ready, open your eyes. (Pause)

Take a few moments to remember your messages, write them down if you wish. Blessings to you!

Welcome to the SPIRITUAL RESOURCES directory!!

I'm happy you found your way here :) Let me explain a little bit about myself and how this blog came into existence. I began my spiritual journey about a year and a half ago in Hong Kong. Since then I've done many courses, learnt many things and I continue to keep reading, researching and learning. I've connected more to Spirit - communicating with my guides, God, the archangels, goddesses, ascended master, animals etc. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know! It excites me and I want to keep learning! I also would love to share with you all. So here's a central page to keep track of "spiritual resources" – interesting websites, online shops with great products, other blogs, physical shops in other countries (that way when you go traveling and want to know some great places to go, hopefully there's something on here that be could be useful!). I'm happy for people to send me links to other things they've found/ tried and had a great experience with (my email address is listed below). It's just a site to give you a collection of resources. If I had a great experience with something then I will share it, but not everything will work for everyone. Before trying/ reading anything, a great suggestion is to have an open mind and an open heart, and if something doesn't feel right then don't take it on. Our intuition is our connection to our higher consciousness, to God and all things in the Universe. Everybody is on different paths and depending on where you are on your path then different things will feel right for everybody. What matters is YOUR truth, always follow it.
